Xalatan 0.005% (Latanoprost)

Xalatan eye drops must be used according to your doctor’s prescription. Do not increase, decrease or alter the dose of the drops without consulting your doctor. The usual dose of Xalatan is 1 drop, which is instilled in the affected eye every evening. If you wear contact lenses, then do not use Xalatan eye drops while wearing your lenses as it can discolor the contact lens. Wait for at least 15 minutes after using the drops before you put back your contact lens. If you are using other eye medications as well, wait for 5 minutes before applying the other product.
