Veregen is a prescription HPV wart treatment medication for eliminating genital or anal warts caused by a human papillomavirus infection. Veregen cream is applied directly to the affected area to help the infection clear more quickly, and it is important to be especially aware of hygiene duringtreatment with this medicated cream. The active ingredient is Sinecatechins, which is a substance that originates from green tea leaves. Veregen ointment will work more quickly for some people than others, and so it is important to continue to use the medication even if warts do not appear to be diminishing in size.
