Valdoxan is a prescription antidepressant medication used to treat depression and is particularly effective for treating depression with anxiety. This medication was developed for patients with major depressive disorder, but as the first antidepressant with a non-monoaminergic component it is often a strong fit for major depression patients who also have severe anxiety along with their depression. Valdoxan 25mg is formulated to work as a MT1 and MT2 melatonergic receptors agonist and a 5-HT2C antagonist that re-synchronizes circadian rhythms in depressed patients.
