Slynd (drospirenone) Tablets
Slynd is an estrogen-free oral contraceptive that provides women with reliable birth control and is a better fit for women who need a birth control pill that doesn’t contain estrogen. Slynd is a POP birth control pill, which means it contains progestin as the only hormone in the medication. Slynd is also a different birth control pill option in the way it has a 24-hour dosing window, which means that it is less problematic if you miss a dose for any reason. It also a birth control pill that promotes a more regular menstrual cycle.

Slynd (drospirenone) Tablets

  • Slynd or Slynd generic is to be taken as one pill every day.Take one tablet daily for 28 consecutive days, with one white active tablet taken daily for the first 24 days and then one green inactive tablet daily for the 4 following days. Try to take your Slynd birth control tablet at the same time every day to ensure the interval between two tablets is approximately 24 hours. If two (2) or more doses are missed (white tablets – first 24 days of month) then take the last missed tablet as soon as possible. Continue with one tablet per day until the pack is finished and use anadditionalnon-hormonal contraception method(condom most commonly) if sexual intercourse is to occur within 7 days of missing those tablets.
