Salicifix (Salicylic Acid) Ointment

  • Follow the instructions that come with your prescription or in the package insert. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about any questions or concerns you may have. Salicylix is supplied in a tube. The recommended dosage is to apply a thin layer to the affected area(s) of the skin. Before applying Salicylix, make sure the affected area(s) of the skin is clean and dry. Do not get the ointment in your eyes or mouth. Do not apply the ointment to genital warts, facial warts, warts with hair, warts in the nose or mouth, or moles. Do not apply other topical medications to the same area where you applied Salicylix.
