Pataday Pataday is an antihistamine that is used to treat itching and redness in the dues caused due to allergies. When things that trigger your allergy come into contact with your body, it makes chemicals known as histamines. These cause the tissues in your nose to swell up and cause your eyes to itch, become red, and continuously produce water. Antihistamines help by reducing these histamines and by blocking them. There are different types of antihistamines available that you can use to treat allergic reactions. However, Pataday eye drops are considered by many as the most suitable form of antihistamines for eye problems. However, do bear in mind that these Pataday drops may not be used to treat eye irritation caused by wearing eye contacts. Pataday 0.2 eye drops are available for purchase online at Canada Pharmacy.
Pataday (Olopatadine)
- Use Pataday generic eyes drops once or twice a day. Administer them according to what your doctor has prescribed to you. Wash your hands before you use the drops. Do not touch the tip of the dropper with your hand, eye or any other surface to avoid contamination. If you wear contact lenses, then remove them first before you put in these drops as the preservatives in them can get absorbed by the lens. Do not wear the lens for at least ten minutes after each dose. Tilt your head backward, look upwards and pull the lower eyelid downwards to make a pouch. Hold the dropper directly above your eye and apply the number of drops prescribed to you. Then close your eye for about 1 to 2 minutes, place your finger on the inside of your eye, and gently apply some pressure. This way, the medication won't drain out. After the application, try not to blink and don’t rub your eyes. Do not rinse the dropper, and replace the cap after each use.
