Milbemax contains the active ingredients milbemycin oxime andpraziquantel. Milbemycin oxime is a drug that works against mites and nematodes. It exerts its effect by paralyzing the insect or nematode, leading to the parasite's death. Praziquantel is an acylated pyrazino-isoquinoline derivative that works against trematodes and cestodes.
