LYNPARZA (Olaparib) is an oral chemotherapy medication prescribed to treat certain types of ovarian and breast cancers. LYNZPARZA is prescribed and managed by an oncologist. People with cancer have cells that are replicating more often than they should. The replicating cells push into the surrounding tissue, causing damage and taking nutrients intended for other parts of the body. LYNZPARZA works by preventing the replication of cancer cells, decreasing tumor growth.

The usual dose is 300 mg by mouth twice daily. LYNPARZA may be taken with or without food.

The tablet and capsule forms are NOT interchangeable. Speak with your doctor if you need to switch from one formulation to another. Do not drink grapefruit juice or Seville orange juice during treatment with Lynparza because they can increase the levels of the drug. LYNPARZA is toxic to the developing fetus and should not be used by women who are pregnant. Women should not breastfeed while using this medication. Myelodysplastic Syndrome/Acute Myeloid Leukemia (MDS/AML) is a rare, but fatal side effect of LYNPARZA. Your doctor should monitor for this condition.
