Kapspargo Sprinkle (Metoprolol Succinate)

  • Kapspargo Sprinkle is available in extended-release capsules of 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg strengths. Usual starting dose for high blood pressure in adults: 25 mg to 100 mg by mouth once daily. Your dose may be adjusted depending on how well you respond to the medication. Usual starting dose for high blood pressure in pediatric patients who are at least 6 years old: 1 mg per kg by mouth once daily, not to exceed 50 mg per day. The dose may be adjusted according to response. Usual starting dose for ischemic chest pain: 100 mg by mouth once daily. Your dose may be adjusted depending on how well you respond to the medication. Usual starting dose for heart failure: 25 mg by mouth once daily. Your dose may be adjusted up to a maximum dose of 200 mg per day depending on how well you respond to the medication.
