The active ingredients in Glyxambi areempagliflozinandlinagliptin. Empagliflozin works by increasing the amount of glucose excreted through the urine. Linagliptin works by causing the body to release more insulin and decreasing the amount of glucose that the liver makes.

Use caution if you have a history of pancreatitis. Tell your doctor if you have a history of kidney or liver problems. Tell your doctor if you have a history of low blood pressure before starting this medication. This drug can increase the risk of urinary tract infections and yeast infections.
