Durolane (Sodium Hyaluronate)

Each pre-filled syringe contains 20 mg of stabilized sodium hyaluronate per mL. Other ingredients include sodium chloride, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, and water for injection.

The syringes and any unused Durolane should be disposed of., Avoid using Durolane if the syringe blister package is opened or damaged., Avoid using skin disinfectants that contain quaternary ammonium salts., Durolane should not be injected into blood vessels, outside of the joint, or into the synovial tissue or capsule., Caution with Durolane should be used if you have pre-existing chondrocalcinosis as the injection could cause an attack., You should not participate in strenuous or prolonged weight-bearing activities within 48 hours of receiving a Durolane injection., You may experience pain or swelling of the affected knee joint after receiving a Durolane injection., Durolane should be stored at temperatures between 32°F-86° F (0°C-30° C).
