Deramaxx (Deracoxib)

Deramaxx is available as a chewable tablet with a beefy flavor. The chewable tablets come in strengths of 12 mg, 25 mg, 75 mg, and 100 mg. If your dog requires a dose of less than 12 mg, the 12 mg tablet can be cut in half to provide 6 mg. If you have questions about how to give an accurate dose to your dog, talk to your veterinarian. Follow the instructions that come with your dog's prescription. If you have any questions or concerns, talk to your veterinarian or pharmacist.

Deramaxx can cause side effects, including vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, seizures, pyoderma, dermatitis,unilateral conjunctivitis, blood in the urine, urinary tract infection, enlarged spleen, and grade II murmur systolic. These are not all the potential side effects of Deramaxx. Monitor your dog for side effects and contact your veterinarian right away if your dog develops side effects that are concerning or won't go away.
