Atripla is a combination of three different drugs for treating the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1) in adults and children over 12 years of age. It should only be prescribed by healthcare providers specializing in treating HIV. Atripla contains antiviral drugs that slow the rate of HIV infection by preventing the replication of viral particles. Each drug targets a different protein important to viral replication.

  • Take Atripla exactly as directed by your doctor. The usual dose is one tablet by mouth once daily on an empty stomach.
