  • Follow the instructions and read the informational leaflets that come with your prescription. Astelin comes in a nasal spray that contains 137 mcg of azelastine hydrochloride in 0.137 mL of spray. Dosage for seasonal allergy symptoms: Pediatric patients 5-11 years old: 1 spray in each nostril two times a day Adults and adolescents who are at least 12 years old: 1 or 2 sprays in each nostril two times a day Dosage for vasomotor rhinitis: 2 sprays in each nostril two times a day in adults and adolescents who are at least 12 years old Prime Astelin Nasal Spray before using it for the first time and if you have not used it for 3 days or longer.
